Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Sample Reception / Courier Driver to join our Food team in Dandenong South, Australia. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for both Sample reception duties and courier driving, with a focus on sample pickup and delivery to the laboratory.
o Collect and transport samples from various locations to our facility
o Ensure proper handling, packaging, and documentation of samples
o Perform basic computer administrative tasks, including sample registrationand data entry via LIMS, labelling and moving the samples to the laboratory
o Plan efficient routes for sample collection and delivery
o Conduct vehicle inspections and maintain the courier vehicle in good condition
o Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while driving and handling samples
o Assist with other reception and administrative duties as needed
Qualifications
o Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record
o High school diploma or equivalent TAFE qualification (Science degree will be preferred)
o Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
o Excellent customer service and communication skills
o Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office)
o Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
o Physical ability to lift and carry packages up to 20 Kg
o Previous experience in courier driving or sample pickup preferred
o Experience in reception or administrative roles is a plus
o Familiarity with laboratory environments beneficial but not required
