We are seeking a senior clinical leader who is ready to influence practice at scale, someone who can translate research, data and innovation into meaningful improvements across our Seniors Services portfolio.
Reporting to the Executive Manager, Nursing and Clinical Governance within the Customer, Risk and Governance Directorate, this role sits at the heart of how we strengthen care quality across NSW and ACT.
The opportunity
This is a strategic leadership role with real impact.
You will guide and enable a highly skilled multidisciplinary clinical practice team (nursing and allied health) to design, embed and sustain contemporary, evidence-based care programs. Your work will directly influence outcomes in areas such as dementia support, palliative care, wound management, mental health, falls prevention and complex care.
Importantly, this role is about lifting standards across an entire system, not just improving pockets of practice.
* Translate strategy into practical, measurable improvements in clinical care
* Strengthen clinical governance and clinical risk mitigation
* Use data and analytics to demonstrate the link between intervention and improved outcomes
* Partner with service leaders to embed consistent, high-quality practice
* Contribute to transformation initiatives across Seniors Services
* Help raise the profile of Nursing and clinical leadership across Uniting

What you'll bring
You are an experienced clinical leader who understands aged care in depth, its complexity and challenges in a sector undergoing significant change..
You combine strategic thinking with practical delivery. You are confident working with executives and frontline clinicians alike. You know how to influence, how to build capability and how to create alignment without through authentic leadership.
* Current AHPRA registration (no conditions or limitations)
* Registration as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner
* Minimum 10 years' experience in health or aged care
* A master's degree in a relevant clinical discipline
* Postgraduate qualifications in leadership or management
* Strong knowledge of aged care regulation and reform
* Demonstrated success leading clinical practice improvement in complex environments
* Confidence in using clinical data to inform decisions and demonstrate impact
* A current Driver's Licence and willingness to travel across NSW and ACT
Experience in data analytics, complex health systems or professional clinical governance leadership will be highly regarded.
