Accountant Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant - Reporting and Planning professional to join our Finance team in an exciting opportunity.
* Support the consolidation and submission of monthly management reports, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information presented to stakeholders.
* Collaborate with budgeting teams on year-end and Integrated Business Plan (IBP) consolidation and submission.
* Contribute to process improvements across Aerospace Reporting activities and Defence Delivery governance initiatives.
* Assist in preparing the Defence Delivery monthly Business Unit Review finance presentation and dashboards.
* Support Line of Business and Reporting teams with ad-hoc tasks as required.
* Develop and maintain centralised Defence Delivery governance processes while ensuring adherence to Financial Controls Framework guidelines.
* Foster effective working relationships with Finance Shared Services, Central Reporting team, and Defence Delivery reporting representatives.
* Work closely with Finance Manager to support business partnering with Aerospace Leadership Team, providing performance insights and highlighting key issues impacting the Line of Business.
* Prepare presentations and forecasts for review by senior team members.
