About the Role
Reporting to the Head of People and Culture Business Partnering for Child, Youth and Families, you will be instrumental in partnering with our Queensland Child, Youth and Families teams to assess, understand and respond to business demand for strategic and operational P&C support in line with LWB's strategic goals and culture.
You will play a pivotal role as a visible leader across the business to partner, develop a culture that encourages accountability and collaboration.
You will be hands on in your approach with a deep technical knowledge of best practice HR business partnering, in an evolving and often tactical environment.
This is a permanent full time position which offers the flexibility to work from your preferred location, whether that is your home or from one of our South East Queensland based offices.
There will be occasions when you will be expected to work from the office and occasional travel will be part of this role.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and support the P&C strategy
Implement, model and support national P&C service delivery standards
Develop creative solutions to business challenges in line with relevant workforce strategy
Facilitate organisational redesign activities from structure, process and culture perspectives including the use of effective change management techniques
Provide professional advice and coaching support to business leadership teams on a range of P&C related issues
Ensure a high level of quality in customer service, and provision of effective and efficient delivery of P&C services
Skills & Experience
Degree level qualification in human resources or a related field or demonstrated equivalent experience and a willingness to enrol in further study.
Significant experience in generalist human resources position / business partnering / similar role
Demonstrated experience navigating a complex organisation, forging relationships, and managing through influence
The ability to influence and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders including peers, employees, partners, unions and external organisations.
Demonstrated written communication skills for the creation of reports, correspondence and other material.
Strong verbal communication skills and presentation ability.
Proficient ability in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of programs
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
