The position will be a full-time position working alongside our management team for a portfolio of multiple assets.
You will be responsible for the facilities and risk management of a diverse portfolio to ensure optimum performance, compliance and investment return.ResponsibilitiesEnsuring building compliance is proactively managed to ensure that all legislative requirements are adhered to at all timesUndertaking regular re-tendering of service contracts including a review of specifications and role requirements taking into consideration best practiceDaily on-site contractor management from obtaining quotes, raising purchase orders to ensuring works are completed within budget and on timeManaging and maintaining the high standard presentation and day-to-day operations of the asset, including security, maintenance and safetyUndertake detailed routine site inspections and action any items requiring actionDeveloping strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including tenants, clients, contractors and colleaguesReviewing the monthly operating expenditure against budgetWorking with the Centre Manager to produce monthly client reports as requiredEnsuring all planned preventative maintenance is executed in accordance with schedules and all plant and equipment is maintained to the very highest of standardsFocus on sustainability improvements and adding value through efficiencies in the operations of the centres.Managing capital expenditure projectsIdeal candidateExperience in a similar role, with knowledge of shopping centre and retail operationsIntermediate level of MS Office skills (Outlook, Word & Excel) - EssentialStrong attention to detail and written communication skillsStrong organisational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritiseAbility to communicate to the highest standard, being verbal and written, always closing out tasksAbility to work with minimal supervisionHold a current QLD Drivers licenceThis role requires an individual with strong commercial acumen within the retail/centre management industry who can add real value as well as experience in managing the day-to-day operations of a retail centre efficiently.Why Retail ProjexWork within an organisation that values personal development and growth as part of our cultureRetail Projex provide 1 day paid birthday leave each yearBe a part of a collaborative management team, whilst having exposure to Senior Management and Directors within the business and having the ability to influence and work for great clientsEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)If growth and stability is what you desire, Retail Projex endeavours to promote within.
