We are a growing organisation with a diverse portfolio of operations. As part of our strategic evolution, we are creating a greenfield Management Accountant role to oversee the financial performance and reporting of our group peripheral entities that operate alongside our core business. In this role, you will work closely with the Finance Manager and CFO to provide accurate and timely financial management reporting, analyse cost drivers, and deliver valuable insights to support business growth and efficiency.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with finance team members (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, internal and external Accountants) to ensure best practice processes are in place.
* Support purchasing processes for imports, factoring in freight and foreign exchange considerations.
* Ensure AR, AP, and bank reconciliations are completed within deadlines for timely management reporting.
* Assist with financial reporting for both core and non-core group entities to ensure accuracy for internal and external stakeholders.
* Work with operations teams across multiple branches on stock management processes, BOM reviews, manufacturing costings, and inventory accuracy.
* Take ownership of management accounting reporting templates, ensuring continuous improvement and effective cost driver analysis.
* Provide regular and ad-hoc financial and operational reports for the CFO and Finance Manager.
* Assist with reconciliation and lodgement of compliance obligations including payroll tax and BAS.
* Conduct financial analysis including month-end variance reviews, both financial and operational metrics.
* Support budget preparation, forecast updates, and performance monitoring.
* Ensure inter-company transactions are accurate, timely, and reconciled across the group.
What You'll Bring:
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
* CA/CPA qualified (or working towards).
* Proven experience in a Management Accountant or similar analytical accounting role.
* Strong understanding of management reporting, cost analysis, and process improvement.
* Solid knowledge of internal controls and corporate governance principles.
* Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced MS Excel skills.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work across multiple business units and locations.
* High attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
