Job Description
The Management Accountant will be responsible for the following:
* Preparation of monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations
* Perform the Accounting Review of approved invoices
* Preparation of monthly AR and AP reporting
* Review of prepared journal vouchers
* Review of bank reconciliations
* Preparation of Income Tax returns
* Quarterly preparation of income tax calculation
* Completion of quarterly GST/VAT returns
* Monitor and input inventories- raw material, work in progress, finished goods
* Monthly review of Bill of Materials for each product reviewing the quantities and pricing of each item and preparation of a report on any changes
* Monthly process of production orders conducted issue items for production and close completed Production Orders
* Review purchases, usage and wastage
* Perform Stock counts
* Prepare Quarterly Inventory working papers with commentary of variance
* Review and report on Obsolete items and finished product against manufacturing and sales forecast with commentary
* Prepare management reports and present critical analysis of results for Finance Manager
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Management/Cost Accountant Should Have
* Part or fully qualified CPA/CA
* SAP/TM1 exposure preferred
* Experience in Management Accounting, Financial Accountant and Cost Accounting preferred
* Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
* Availability for an immediate start
