The North Coast Region is a dynamic, fast-growing area where TMR manages major projects that enhance connectivity, support economic growth, and improve community outcomes across the state.Location: Maroochydore Job Description We're seeking two experienced AO5 Communications Advisors to join TMR's Stakeholder Management team.
One position will support the Planning function, focusing on long-term project strategy and stakeholder preparation.
The other will support Delivery, working closely with teams managing active construction and project rollout.
In both roles, you will:Develop and implement targeted communication and engagement strategies Provide expert advice to internal stakeholders on media, issues management, and community engagement Build and manage strong relationships with government partners, contractors, and the public Lead communication activities such as events, public consultation, correspondence, and content creation Ensure compliance with governance frameworks and legislative obligations The Successful Applicant Proven experience in communications or stakeholder engagement for infrastructure or civil projects Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset A strategic approach to communications, paired with strong delivery capability Experience managing sensitive community issues, media queries, or public-facing events Tertiary qualifications in Communications, PR, Journalism, or Marketing (preferred but not essential) IAP2 engagement certification, or a willingness to obtain one What's on Offer Contract Duration: 30 June 2025 to 30 June 2028 Location: Maroochydore Work Arrangement: Full-time office-based on boarding, then hybrid (5 office days per fortnight) Rate: AO5 level, $67.13-$72.96/hr (based on experience) Applications close Sunday, 9 June 2025.
