Our client, Cessnock Hospitality Group, is looking for a talented, hands‐on Events Manager to join their management team. This role is perfect for an experienced and motivated functions and events leader who is looking to create and deliver a memorable experience. Working with the management team you will have the prospect and support to build solid working relationships with a variety of stakeholders to ensure that all venues continue to meet and exceed the expectations of our local community.
You will bring a solid work ethic and a passion for delivering high quality functions and events. You will provide customers with confidence that their function or event will be seamless, and you will deliver on your promise.
Key Responsibilities
* Efficiently respond to all enquiries and convert the majority into bookings
* Providing operational support to delivery functions and events
* Delivery of post event analyse and reporting
* Leadership and mentoring to functions and events staff
Qualifications & Requirements
Ideally you will have experience in function and event coordination across multiple function spaces or will be looking to take the next step in your career. You will have the flexibility to manage your own roster, but will be available to work nights and weekends for scheduled events.
