Residential Rehabilitation Social Worker
This position involves high-level assessment, care coordination, and therapeutic support in a Residential Rehabilitation setting. The program is 12 weeks followed by a 3-month transitional support phase.
The role of the Social Worker includes delivering evidence-based psychological and psychosocial AOD treatments, providing one-to-one support and interventions, relapse prevention, and ongoing assistance to improve psychosocial and family functioning.
About You
* Qualifications in a social science field are required for this position.
* Experience working with individuals with drug and alcohol issues is essential.
* The ability to apply harm minimisation practices is also necessary.
* Providing evidence-based brief interventions and clinical practice for people with complex needs or dual diagnosis is a key requirement.
