About the Role
Are you ready to leverage your HR skills in a role where your contributions are valued and impactful? At Karana Downs Dental, we're expanding our successful group of dental practices and seeking our first dedicated HR Coordinator.
This is a newly created position, giving you the opportunity to make it your own, supported by a Business Leader and Group Manager committed to fostering a positive, supportive culture.
Reporting and Leadership
You will report to a respected Group Manager who leads with integrity, and work alongside a caring and proactive Business Leader dedicated to doing right by the team.
Key Responsibilities
* HR Administration & Compliance
* Recruitment and Onboarding
* Employee Engagement
You will support Practice Managers, manage HR processes, ensure compliance with the Fair Work Act and WHS obligations, assist in rolling out HR software like Deputy, contribute to performance management, and maintain HR records and reports. You may also provide reception cover at Karana Downs Dental, with travel to other practices as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
* At least 2 years of experience in HR Administration or Coordination, or a relevant degree, with a desire to grow into more responsibility.
* Understanding of employment laws and HR compliance, with a proactive learning attitude.
* Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in policy and documentation management.
* Approachable, friendly, curious, and helpful demeanor.
* Excellent communication skills, organizational ability, and composure under pressure.
* Living within approximately 20km of Karana Downs.
