We have an exciting opportunity for a Client Director to join our Real Estate team in Melbourne, leading a complex portfolio of values‑driven clients while focusing on new business development.
What will you be doing?
* Act as the primary relationship owner for a complex Real Estate portfolio.
* Deliver need‑based, strategic insurance and risk solutions aligned to Real Estate clients.
* Provide trusted advice to senior executives, boards and governing bodies.
* Develop and execute renewal strategies that reflect funding structures, regulatory obligations and operational risk profiles.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers and specialist markets.
Business Growth & Retention
* Drive sustainable and profitable portfolio growth while upholding professional and compliance standards.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cross‑marketing and sector relationships.
* Lead new business pursuits, tenders and prospect engagement.
* Contribute to strong client retention through exceptional service, advocacy and broking standards.
* Mentor, coach Client Managers and Associates.
* Role model Lockton’s values, ethical standards and compliance expectations.
* Support career development through regular performance check‑ins and development plans.

You will need the following experience and qualifications:
* Extensive experience in insurance broking or financial services.
* Tier 1 Insurance Broking Certificate / Level 5 Certificate in Financial Services.
* Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance) preferred.
* Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related discipline (MBA desirable).
