**Position**: Electronic Instrument Trades Worker

**Salary**:$75,000 to $80,000 plus superannuation per annum

**Tasks required include**:
- Install, configure, and test a wide range of electronic instruments, control systems, and monitoring devices used across our facilities.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair faults in complex electronic systems and equipment.
- Perform regular maintenance on electronic instruments and control panels to prevent equipment failures.
- Program and maintain PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems to optimize performance.
- Calibrate instruments to ensure accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all electronic instruments and control systems.
- Assist in system upgrades, modifications, and testing of new technologies to improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain detailed records of system maintenance, repairs, and performance, ensuring documentation meets compliance and safety standards.
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers for parts, troubleshooting advice, and system improvements.
- Monitor system performance and assist in developing strategies for minimizing downtime.
- Provide technical support and training to other team members on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
**Requirements**:
- Certificate III in Engineering - Electrical/Electronic or equivalent.
- At least two (2) years' experience in relevant field.
- Proven experience working with electronic instruments and control systems.
- Strong understanding of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems, control software, and related technology.
- Prior work in manufacturing, telecommunications, or process industries is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and schematic diagrams.
- Experience with calibration techniques and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team setting.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
