Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach are seeking a hospitality professional with a passion for delivering unparalleled guest experiences. As a Duty Manager, you will thrive in a dynamic environment showcasing your passion for luxury and strong interpersonal skills.
**Job Description** Your Opportunity**:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Front Office, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of guest movements and lobby activities.
- Act as a point of contact for guests, handling inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and discretion.
- Supervise and support Front Office, Guest Service and Concierge in their daily duties, providing guidance and assistance as needed.
- Coordinate with other departments to address guest needs promptly and ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Assist in managing inventory, including room allocations, reservations, and amenities, to optimize occupancy and revenue.
- Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities to maintain cleanliness, safety, and adherence to brand standards.
- Assist in training and development initiatives for front office, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with senior management to implement policies, procedures, and initiatives aimed at enhancing guest satisfaction and employee engagement.

**Qualifications** Skills and Experience**:

- 2+ years of experience in a Front Office supervisory role, preferably in a luxury hotel.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
- The innate ability to remain calm under pressure and when responding to emergency situations.
- Proficiency in property management systems and Front Office software, Opera Cloud advantageous.
- Hold a valid QLD RSA (or the ability to obtain)
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
