About the Opportunity
This is a full‐time position on a night shift roster where you will be responsible for a comprehensive range of electrical duties, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production processes. Reporting directly to the day shift Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our state‐of‐the‐art equipment.
Key Responsibilities
* Executing preventative maintenance programs, including work orders and periodic inspections.
* Responding promptly to machine breakdowns and performing necessary repairs.
* Implementing and optimizing machine settings.
* Identifying and recommending improvements for production processes.
* Maintaining and calibrating process control instrumentation.
* Ensuring strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and statutory regulations.
* Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities.
* Fostering excellent communication and supportive rapport within the team.
What We're Looking For
* A current Australian Electrical License.
* Preferably 5+ years of experience in the food manufacturing industry or a similar fast‐paced environment.
* Demonstrated high level of technical ability and problem‐solving skills.
* Proficiency in industrial control systems and equipment.
* Experience with PLC programming and fault finding.
* Knowledge of control loops and instrumentation.
* Moderate computer skills (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, email, SAP).
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* A strong understanding of quality, safety, and environmental management systems.
* Capability to train and coach operators in autonomous maintenance techniques.
* Assist Production in setup and verification of production lines.
