About the Role
We're seeking experienced Machine Operators to join our production team. You'll be working primarily with our Formulated team (fruit prep line), operating machinery and supporting production processes on weekdays, shifts tend to start from 6/7am.
This hands-on role involves operating equipment safely and efficiently, performing manual tasks, and maintaining high standards in a fast-paced environment. Our dynamic and ever-evolving manufacturing business thrives on a deep commitment to quality products, excellent service, and dedicated personnel.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and monitor production machinery in accordance with SOPs.
* Ensure product quality and consistency through regular checks and adjustments.
* Work collaboratively in a small team under general supervision. Working closely with QA & Product Development Team.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to PPE and safety protocols.
* Support production targets and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in food manufacturing or machine operation
* Minimum 1-2 years of machine operation experience is required.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
* Positive attitude and willingness to work in a refrigerated environment.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Qualification in Food Processing (highly desirable)
Skills and Knowledge:
* Reliable, motivated, and punctual
* Willingness to learn and work in different roles to cover staff absences
* Physical stamina and strength
* Previous experience in a similar role ideal, with knowledge of health and safety regulations
* Ability to work under limited supervision and independently
* Forklift license desirable.
