Your New Role And Responsibilities
Working in a highly dynamic environment, our passionate, highly skilled and mission focused team is made up of people from diverse industry backgrounds. You will command and deliver flight crew training on a highly modified Dash 8 aircraft, with the most advanced technology ever to be integrated into a civil surveillance platform.
As a captain with the surveillance team, you will provide essential leadership and support to your entire crew, working diligently, quickly, and professionally, to ensure that each mission is a success. As a member of the training and checking team you will play a critical role in the professional development of Dash 8 pilots while conducting training and checking activities in the aircraft and/or simulator.
This vital role provides fantastic job satisfaction and excellent opportunities to grow as an instructor. Successful candidates will be provided with training to complete additional instructor and examiner qualifications.
What You'll Bring To Make An Impact
Australian Citizen with current passport
CASA Class 1 Aviation Medical
Australian ATPL(A)
**** hours PIC in multi-crew operations on type-rated aeroplanes
Australian Flight or Simulator Instructor Rating
For simulator roles: Type rating training activity endorsement on any multi-crew type-rated type
Eligibility for both an Aviation Security Identity Card (ASIC) and Australian government security clearances
Salary
Training Captains: From $212,961
Simulator Instructors: From $250,503 (6% increase scheduled for **** + 2% annual increments)
