We are seeking an experience and engaged HR Manager to join our high performing Tax & Legal team on a permanent basis. We are open to candidates in Sydney or Melbourne, and we’re seeking someone who is great at building relationships across all levels and passionate about creating a positive work experience for our people. What will your typical day look like? As a HR Manager supporting our Business Tax practice within the Tax & Legal business unit, you will be responsible for partnering with the business to understand their needs and provide guidance on the development and implementation of both strategic and operational initiatives to enhance employee retention and engagement, foster a positive culture and drive high performance. Key responsibilities are broad and would range from talent engagement strategies, ER management, talent program leadership, remuneration and reward through to coaching leaders and other talent colleagues. Whilst ownership of a portfolio is the primary responsibility, the role will also support the Talent Director in leading important initiatives across the practice, using clear plans and structured ways of working to help us stay focused, on track and delivering results. You are someone with: 5 years’ HR generalist experience working with and influencing senior leadership teams as a trusted advisor Experience as a HR Business Partner gained in a matrix organisation, fast paced environment or professional services advantageous Experience in managing the delivery of multiple talent initiatives that require research, data analysis and insight, proactive planning, strong project management skills, a high level of numeracy, attention to detail and strong communication skills Understanding of strategic workforce planning and remuneration strategies Proven strong communication, influencing and negation skills with senior leadership Complex ER case management experience including performance and investigations Coaching / team leadership experience Why Deloitte?
