Life in the fast lane

As the Office Manager & Executive Assistant, you will be joining our Business Services & People team.

This is a
Fixed-term position until 30 November 2026
, based at our Head Office in St Kilda.

Reporting jointly to the Chief Financial Officer & Chief People Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient day to day operations of AGPC's Head Office, including oversight of reception services, office management, administrative processes and coordination of accommodation requirements for AGPC staff across all events. The role plays a critical part in delivering timely, high-quality support across the Business Services and People functions, providing high level systems, administrative and operational support to both the Chief Financial Officer and the Chief People Officer.

This is a great role for someone looking to gain corporate experience who may have an interest in sports management and well as the Human Resources and/or Finance functions.

Additionally, you will:

* Be responsible for office management, including maintaining the office and reception environment, managing storage, uniforms and assets, overseeing key administrative processes, and coordinating essential office logistics such as car park allocations.
* Responsible for coordinating and managing staff event accommodation, including sourcing suitable options, making bookings, and ensuring all logistical needs are met for both regular operations and major events.
* Provide high level executive assistance across the Business Services and People portfolios, managing the organisation of committee meetings, calendars, travel, communications, key documents, and department processes.

What you'll bring to the role:

* Proven experience as an Executive Assistant and or major event operations role at a senior level.
* Extensive office management experience and time management.
* Demonstrated experience translating executive priorities into major event outcomes, achieving on-time, high-quality delivery with complex stakeholders.
* Budget management covering monthly reporting, invoices/accruals, and forecasting.
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools.
* A current Police Check and Victorian Working with Children Check (Employee), or be willing to obtain.
