Overview
Sharp & Carter, a construction business based in Milton, is seeking a proactive Personal Assistant to support the Managing Director and wider technical teams. This hands‑on role is central to the smooth running of the business, providing administration support, document control, database management, and coordination across departments. The role reports to the Operations Manager in a collaborative, high‑performing team within a fun and vibrant organisation offering a supportive culture and regular social and professional development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day personal assistant support to senior leaders, including calendar management, meeting preparation, travel coordination, and expense reconciliation.
- Prepare and format correspondence, reports, and documentation.
- Manage document registers including project registers, proposal tracking, templates, and QA documentation.
- Liaise between operations, leadership, technical, and corporate support teams to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
- Coordinate submission deadlines, document collation, and quality checks.
- Work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure productive management of the business operations.
Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated experience in an administrative or PA role.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organisational skills, and data accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Proactive, trustworthy, and capable of working independently.
- Familiarity with construction, consultancy, or technical project environments highly regarded, yet not essential.
