The Role
* Ensure that all dishes from the section are prepared consistently and according to standard recipes
* Ensure that kitchen and operating equipment is maintained to a good standard
* Organize and set up the assigned section of the kitchen as effectively as possible to increase speed and maximize productivity.
* Maintain a hygienic and clean work environment to HACCP standards
* To work with the other departments in the hotel and deliver exceptional guest experiences
The Person
* Cert III or higher in Commercial Cookery and A la carte experience
* Previous experience in a 5 star hotel environment preferred
* Availability to work a variety of shifts including early mornings, evenings weekends & public holidays
* Strong verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
* Naturally curious and driven, willing to try new things and ready to grow their professional career to the next level
