Job Description:
Meet regularly with Room Leaders to ensure children's participation in the educational program.
Attend monthly Educational Leader Meetings for role guidance and networking with early education professionals.
Review and enhance current educational programs and documentation.
Collaborate with educators to refine educational programs, practices, and documentation, including assessments of children's learning and development.
Hold monthly meetings with Trainees to support their studies.
Work alongside educators to maintain effective planning, documenting, and evaluation cycles.
Ensure high-quality services in line with National Quality Standards and Government Regulations.
Take an active role in the Quality Improvement process.
Contribute to developing and refining educational policies, procedures, and pedagogical practices.
Work with the leadership team to develop, implement, and promote events, community initiatives, bush kinder, and incursion programs.
Qualifications:
ECT or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (must have)
Current Working with Children Check
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Previous experience in an Educational Leader role or a willingness to learn
Strong knowledge of EYLF and NQS
Friendly and energetic personality
Passion for high-quality education and support for children
Commitment to building and maintaining partnerships with families and communities
Ability to model best practices in programming, compliance, and relationships with children
Experience with Xplor or similar systems is advantageous but not essential
