Job Description
Reporting to the Field Maintenance Coordinator and operating from the Southern Maintenance Facility you will be responsible for providing strong leadership to achieve outstanding results for the Maintenance team.
About the Role
Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities across a large fleet of field equipment, including 2 electric rope shovels, 2 Liebherr 9800 excavators, 11 Hitachi excavators, and 8 blast hole drills.
The role is accountable for ensuring breakdown repairs and planned work are executed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality, minimising downtime and supporting production continuity.
Accountable for maintaining a safe workplace, providing visible leadership and coordinating the Field Maintenance team to achieve agreed KPI's.
Driving continuous business improvement and quality assurance of maintenance performance using problem-solving skills.
Bring fresh ideas and creative thinking to challenge the status quo.
Assist in completing detailed analysis of equipment failures to identify and implement effective solutions.

About You
You are an engaging and enthusiastic leader, inspired by driving a high-performance culture through setting clear expectations, strong engagement with your team and recognising success.
Offer coaching and support to drive high performance by leveraging previous leadership experience.
Completion of frontline leadership or specific maintenance leadership competencies will be highly regarded.
Trade level qualifications in mechanical or electrical field, combined with open cut mining experience are essential.
Previous experience in a field maintenance supervisory role and/or engineering qualifications are highly advantageous.
Exceptional communication skills and a high level of computer literacy.
Experience with the fundamentals of Asset Management and proficiency using SAP is desirable.
