Overview

Your role at St John of God Subiaco Hospital

We are seeking to recruit a Prosthesis Coordinator to join our Procedural Services team at Subiaco, on a permanent part-time basis.

You will be primarily responsible for supporting our theatre caregivers in ensuring prosthesis use is clinically appropriate, operationally sustainable, and systemically compliant using TechOne.

This role is being offered part-time working 22.8 hours per week.

The Position

* Perform daily procedure usage case review and approval in TechOne, prioritising cases where prosthesis is used and resolving all discrepancies.
* Provide site-based support to theatre caregivers for recording prosthesis and consumables in TechOne.
* Process requests from Theatre caregivers for new items and coordinates item requests, ensuring the required clinical, procurement and capital approvals are completed (as required).
* Provide ongoing feedback to theatre caregivers on TechOne usage, recording accuracy and process compliance.
* Coordinate quarterly consignment stock counts with suppliers and ensure relevant documentation is recorded in Oracle
* Manage loan prosthesis discrepancy processes and communicate resolution back to stakeholders.
* Escalate breaches of process to and Perioperative leadership as required.

We are seeking a motivated professional with experience in the private health care industry and a solid understanding of medical products, consumables, and terminology. The role requires knowledge of health fund contracts, including ex gratia processes, as well as strong capability in managing prosthesis inventory, including consignment and loan stock.

The successful candidate will demonstrate effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills when liaising with key stakeholders and contribute positively to a multidisciplinary team.

* Salary: $88,982 to $91,420 (Pro-rata for part-time) plus 12% Superannuation
* Permanent part-time, working 22.8 hours per week
