About the role
CMV's Contract Parts Division provides personalised services to major transport fleet operators. As a Parts Sales Representative, you will manage existing accounts while actively seeking out new business opportunities, driving heavy parts product growth across Melbourne's western suburbs. This role offers a high degree of autonomy and involves both office-based and on-the-road sales activities.
What you will be doing
* Manage existing accounts and deliver first-class service
* Identify new business opportunities with existing and potential clients
* Build strong relationships with key decision makers
* Devise and present problem-solving solutions to win new business
* Manage key accounts and consignment stores
* Establish and maintain a formal follow-up system for stock replenishment
* Maintain the in-house customer database and reporting
* Deliver parts as required to customer sites
* Process customer invoices and quotations for parts requirements
What You'll Need to Succeed
* Experience in a sales role is essential
* Professional, organised, confident, and well-presented
* Experience in a Customer-focused position engaging with clients at all levels
* Proactive, sales-oriented, and able to problem solve creatively
* Positive, "can-do" attitude
* Experience in automotive parts, road transport, or heavy automotive industry is highly desirable
* Valid driver's licence
