About the Role
We're looking for a Mobile App Developer to help shape and deliver outstanding app experiences for some of Humaan's most exciting projects. You'll work closely with our design and development teams to plan, build, and ship high-quality mobile applications that look beautiful, perform brilliantly, and feel intuitive to use.
You'll be responsible for translating creative concepts into robust, scalable apps, primarily using React Native. You should be confident working across the mobile stack, with an understanding of the nuances between iOS and Android, and a drive to create seamless, polished user experiences.
More broadly, you'll bring a high level of care and craftsmanship to your work, stay on top of evolving mobile technologies, and collaborate openly with designers, developers and stakeholders throughout the process.
What you'll do
* Develop, test and maintain mobile apps using React Native.
* Contribute to planning and architecture discussions to ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability.
* Integrate APIs and third-party services.
* Ensure code quality and reliability through thorough testing and documentation.
* Work closely with designers to bring polished UI and UX to life.
* Support the release and maintenance of apps across both iOS and Android platforms.
* Collaborate with the wider development team and share knowledge to strengthen our collective capability.
What we're looking for
* At least 3 years' experience building mobile apps, with a strong focus on React Native.
* Solid understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript.
* Exposure to native development (Swift, Objective-C, or Java/Kotlin) is a plus.
* Familiarity with modern app architectures, API integration, and app store deployment.
* Awareness of mobile performance, accessibility, and security considerations.
* Strong communication skills and an ability to collaborate across disciplines.
* A proactive, resourceful attitude and a genuine enthusiasm for learning new technologies.
