Rehabilitation Consultant - Prov Psych/Rehab Counsellor/Registered Nurse/Social WorkerIPAR Coniston, New South Wales, AustraliaWe are seeking individuals with a background in Psychology, Nursing, Social Work, or Rehabilitation Counselling interested in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector in Wollongong NSW.This role offers flexibility and autonomy, with support from a dedicated team of healthcare professionals and resources of a global organization. You will provide occupational rehabilitation services to clients with physical and psychological conditions, supporting their return to health and work.Your duties will include:Case management with support from Rehabilitation Assistants;Applying clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes;Developing injury prevention and workplace education programs with employers and employees;Collaborating with injured workers, employers, and health professionals;Working across schemes such as workers compensation, third party, life insurance, and others;Conducting assessments like initial, workplace, and vocational assessments to support treatment and employment opportunities.We welcome new graduates and offer Primary Internal Supervision, providing a hands-on learning environment and career development opportunities within the MedHealth group.Qualifications:Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Nursing, Social Work, or Rehabilitation Counselling;Registration with AHPRA, ASORC, or AASW;Experience in Occupational Rehabilitation is highly regarded;Excellent communication, empathy, and time management skills;Current NSW Driver’s License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance.Additional Information:At IPAR, our values are Great People, Big Hearts, and Bold Ideas, guiding our work and culture.
