The McGuires have been in the industry for four generations, with venues all over Brisbane and The Gold Coast. The Venues; The Alexandra Hills Hotel, The Calamvale Hotel, The Colmslie Hotel, Logan Village Hotel, The Junction at Annerley, Corinda Tavern, The Paddington Tavern, Queenslander Marsden Tavern, RQ'S Tavern Robina and Tugun Tavern. McGuires Group is currently looking for hardworking and dedicated Hotel Manager/ Duty Manager to join their teams. Duties, and Responsibilities: Manage and supervise reservations, receptions, room services, and other resort functions. Plan, organise and oversee bar, restaurant, function and conference activities. Oversee the safety and security of guests, team members, and hotel assets. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements relevant to hotel operations. Monitor and review customer satisfaction, resolving issues, and ensure satisfactory guest services are delivered in an efficient and seamless manner. Oversee accounting, purchasing, and budgetary activities in line with business goals. Ensure the staff is kept apprised of current Health and Safety regulations and implementing regulations as necessary. Work with senior management to achieve operational targets, cost controls, and business objectives. Recruit, train, supervise, and support new and existing staff to maintain high service standards. Skills and Experience: Relevant qualification in hotel management, business administration, or related field. At least 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role. Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage and motivate multi-department teams. Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Sound business and financial acumen. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills. Understanding of liquor, workplace health and safety, and other regulatory requirements relevant to hotel operations.
