About Our Client
Our client is a major Australian infrastructure services company that plays a key role in designing, building, operating and maintaining essential utility networks across the country. Its utilities division works with leading water, electricity, gas and industrial clients to deliver asset engineering, construction, maintenance, meter services, compliance and operations for critical utility infrastructure such as pipelines, pump stations, reservoirs and treatment plants.
What You Will Be Doing
Working Monday Friday with 6:30AM starts & 9-10 hour days, options of working from Oxley or Luggage Point. Your role as an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Technician will be to perform routine, planned & reactive maintenance on water and wastewater treatment. The role also includes delivering small minor works projects and contributing to the ongoing improvement of critical infrastructure operations within the region.
* Safely and efficiently performing electrical and instrumentation maintenance
* Key responsibilities include performing planned and reactive maintenance
* Fault finding
* Technical support to engineers, clients, and production teams.
* Calibration
* Troubleshooting and repairs on water and wastewater infrastructure to ensure reliable performance and regulatory compliance.
* Technician will also support minor works and capital installation projects and may participate in commissioning and decommissioning of assets and plants
What You Will Need
* Current Drivers Licence.
* Experience on wastewater treatment plants and all equipment located within the plant (Desirable)
* Experience with plant and equipment associated with wastewater treatment plants and pumping stations.
* Ability to integrate with and cooperate as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Practical and theoretical knowledge of SCADA
* National Licence to perform High Risk work (Desirable)
* Capable of inspection, testing, adjustment and repairs of electrical equipment
* Instrumentation & Control fault finding ability
* Willingness to upskill and undertake additional training for ongoing development
