As a Maintenance Fitter at our Sorell facility, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our machinery and equipment. You will play a key role in minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and making necessary repairs. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive team and contribute to the production of high-quality poultry products.

Daily Tasks
* Performing routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment
* Troubleshooting mechanical issues and implementing effective solutions
* Conducting preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance
* Adhering to safety protocols and procedures
* Working in shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends
* Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities
* Collaborating with production teams to minimize downtime
You will bring to this role
* Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

* Reliability and punctuality
* Physical fitness to perform manual tasks and lift heavy objects

* Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not required
