Job Title:

Clinical Lead

Employment Type:

Full-time, temporary position available for 11 months with possibility of extension and/or permanency.

Classification:

Health Professional Level 4/Psychologist Level 4 (PN 17951)

Key Responsibilities:

Provide clinical leadership and expertise in forensic mental health services, supporting a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to consumers at risk of offending or those already in the criminal justice system.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Registration as a psychologist or health professional with relevant qualifications and experience.
* Current registration under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Working Environment:

The Forensic Community Mental Health Service (FCMHS) is a specialist multidisciplinary tertiary mental health service that aims to provide expert assessment, knowledge, and skills to general mental health services, including community and inpatient services, and other stakeholders regarding the treatment and support of people experiencing mental illness/disorder who are at high risk of offending or those already in the criminal justice system.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the collegial FCMHS team, providing specialist training and access to specialist clinical supervision. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for supporting a collaborative and multidisciplinary team, maintaining continuing professional development requirements, and ensuring high-quality care delivery.

Selection Criteria:

Applications will be assessed against the following criteria: Registration as a Psychologist or Health Professional; Current Registration under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011; Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team; Relevant qualifications and experience in forensic mental health services.
