Role Summary
As the Delivery Manager, you'll be responsible for guiding the successful delivery of initiatives across the Voyager application ecosystem through effective planning, prioritisation, and team facilitation. The role establishes delivery rhythms and creates a collaborative environment that enables teams to deliver incremental value. The Delivery Manager removes impediments through requirements validation and collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, manages risks, and ensures delivery transparency.
Team Summary
The Application Development team's objective is to support the strategic business goals by continuously improving and maintaining the Voyager application ecosystem. By leveraging the latest technologies and embracing DevOps practices, the team aims to minimise downtime, maximise carpark revenue capture, enhance business efficiencies, and improve the overall customer experience.
Deliverables
* Accountable
o Delivery of high-quality, secure, and maintainable software.
o Capacity and timeline planning for execution of initiatives.
o Delivery of initiatives on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals.
* Responsible
o Driving agile and DevOps practices across the team.
o Leading sprint planning, retrospectives, and prioritization with Product Owners and stakeholders.
o Managing day-to-day software development activities and escalations related to deliverables.
o Mentoring developers and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
* Contributor
o Strategic planning, technology roadmaps and innovation initiatives.
o Collaboration with business, operations, and infrastructure teams to support integrated delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing the delivery lifecycle for software development initiatives as part of the DevOps team at Secure Parking
* Capacity and timeline planning for execution of initiatives
* Organise sprint planning, estimations and prioritisation with developers, QA and product stakeholders
* Daily management of the Azure DevOps boards, work items and associated reporting
* Reporting on actual effort vs estimated effort and capex allocation of tasks to project codes
* Release management
* Assist with test execution as required which may include functional testing as well as API testing and data validation using SQL or KQL queries
* Assist with collation and documentation of business requirements following a MoSCoW approach
* Validate and migrate or create functional documentation as required and establish centralised knowledge management platform
* Foster a team culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications, Certifications & Licenses
* Essential
o Extensive experience in agile delivery and DevOps practices, guiding teams in implementing high-quality custom developed software solutions
o Certification in Agile or Project Management Practices
o Demonstrated experience with Azure DevOps for backlog management, sprint planning and release management
o Excellent communication and demonstrable leadership skills.
o Experience working in custom software environments, with a proven ability to quickly absorb and understand complex domain knowledge
* Beneficial
o Agile certification and experience with Azure DevOps as a work management tool
o DevOps Foundation Certification or appropriate knowledge of CI/CD, release flow, pipelines
o Experience with industry standard process and functional flow modelling
