A Head of Western Australia, with oversight into South Australia, is required to lead our growth and operations based in Perth, reporting to the COO.
People living in regional and remote Australia are experiencing poorer health outcomes and struggling to get access to health services. Most places we visit have a waitlist 2 years and some places, allied health has never existed before.
With a national footprint, career progression and structure, Fly2health is Australia's first and in a hyper-growth start up environment providing the best allied health to people living in the country.
Who are you?
- You're an optimistic people leader able to traverse the nuances of leading in a matrix organisation
- You're a person who enjoys rolling their sleeves up, solving challenging problems with ambiguous and rapidly changing information
- You're in your comfort zone having daily business development conversations with everyone from the local kindergarten teacher to the local councillor to the CEO of a national healthcare organisation
- You hold a Commercial Pilots Licence with an instrument rating (or ability to obtain one)
- You get more energised to find a way forward when external forces say ‘it’s too hard / no'
- You're able to bring your left and right brains together to structure and continually optimise efficient, data-led operations for the state with creative problem solving along the way
Day to day objectives
- Overseeing operations and clinical teams to deliver safe, excellent and efficient operation into WA/SA
- Lead culture, attraction and retention of staff
- Safely flying our clinical teams 2-3 times per week
- Oversee state performance and financial outcomes including P&L; ownership
- Business development, growth and relationship management of senior government, NGO and private stakeholders
Strategic objectives
- Work with other state leaders to achieve our national organisational goals
- Work with CFO to achieve financial targets
- Work with group clinical Director to ensure best clinical practice
- Assist with integration of metro clinic strategy with the executive team
The ideal candidate will have
- Demonstrated ability to motivate, guide and lead a culture focussed team
- Demonstrated ability to scale a business to achieve financial KPIs
- Commercial Pilots Licence with at least Single Engine Instrument Rating preferred
