Your primary role will be providing one on one support to our NDIS participants within the community or in the comfort of their home. This can include assisting with daily living activities, personal care, domestic assistance, transport and any other aspects of daily living specified by their NDIS plan.
Skills & Experience:
- Certificate III or IV in mental health, disability or related field.
- Be punctual, well dressed and presentable.
- Experience and knowledge of NDIS and/or the disability sector.
- Capable of operating independently with mínimal supervision and direction.
- Ability to understand and complete documentation accurately (case notes and report writing).
Essential criteria:
- Car, Drivers Licence and comprehensive insurance.
- Working with Children (WWC)
- National Police Check
- NDIS Workers Clearance
- Valid First Aid/CPR
- Australian Working Rights
- Availability to work shifts during the week/weekends and willing to accept short shifts and/or overnights.
