This is a permanent full-time position.The PositionAs the Director of Nursing, you will be part of the innovative Primary Health leadership team catering for health care needs of Tasmanians in community and rural and remote settings.Work with an experienced and supportive local team of keen professionals providing holistic care.Have the opportunity to positively influence care across the entire primary health remit – clinics, sub-acute inpatient, emergency, and residential care.Lead and manage a range of inpatient/residential/community-based services provided from the relevant rural health facility, including the management of resources.Undertake a leadership role in ensuring that clinical and support services/infrastructure meet quality and safety standards and are in accordance with Agency performance objectives and community expectations.Facilitate the development and maintenance of strong communication links within the Agency and with other government and non-government agencies, community health service providers, and other key groups and consumers regarding health service priorities.The LocationTasmania, Australia's only island state, offers unparalleled natural beauty and a luxurious lifestyle.
