As a member of our Field and Asset Management Team, you will work in Gladstone or Townsville, reporting to Section Team Leaders within the Field Delivery Group.
Our team is dedicated to operating Powerlink's high-voltage substation network, and we are looking for someone who enjoys continual learning, works well in a collaborative environment, and takes pride in providing quality service.
Key responsibilities include:
* Maintenance, testing, and commissioning of multiplexer systems (PDH, SDH, and DWDM), MPLS-TP, fibre optic, and microwave radio
* Analyzing and fault-finding complex electrical circuitry and schemes
* Working with industry-standard test equipment and software
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Electronic and Communications or Electrical Trade Certificate
* Associate degree or Advanced diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent
* Restricted Electrical Licence
