**About the role**:
Working with local suppliers across multiple categories, this role is ideal for anyone who is passionate about Australia as well as building ranges and negotiating with suppliers.
**Duties**
- Define the sourcing strategy for your category
- Build relationships with local suppliers and negotiation all terms and conditions
- Manage all promotions, margins and liquidation plans for products
- Involved in in store layouts and planograms
- Seasonal Buying responsibilities
- Support and manage your assistant
- Build great relationships internally with marketing, digital and supply chain
**Skills & Experience**:
- Retail Category Management or Retail Buying experience is mandatory
- Management experience preferred
- Examples of innovative ideas in range and buying previously
- Strong excel skills - VLookup and Pivot tables
