SEEKING STAFF WITH:
1. Experience with violent behaviours of concern
2. Experience with complex communication, including non verbal
3. Experience with personal care
4. Ability to work overnights, between 6am - 9am and 3pm - 10pm
5. Availability throughout the Christmas period.
6. Preferably 3years + experience in same

Step Up Support Services is an NDIS provider, offering direct supports to clients for all shifts, including sleepovers 7 days a week for social and in home supports, but we come with a difference….
We provide a 'Home Base' for all clients and staff to come 7 days a week so you don't have to drive around in endless circles or hang out in shopping centres for lack of somewhere to go.
We provide a supportive and hands on approach with our staff and have Managers that will work alongside of you to help solve a problem, you are not just a number. This means that we never send you to a client without asking you if you feel you have the right skills and are comfortable providing the support and if it's just not a great fit….. that's ok too – you will not just be automatically rostered - we want you and the clients to feel safe, happy and supported.
We adopt a holistic approach to work with other services wherever possible to get the best outcome for our clients, we care about more than just the funding. Big or little we invest the amount of time as needed to get it right.

We provide a staff and client servicing team who will work alongside you, not just from an office but will practice what they preach and provide hands on training and support as needed.
Now that you know what we can offer, here is what we need from you:
* Minimum or 2 years professional experience in disability or a qualification in a relevant area.
* A full drivers license and comprehensive car insurance.
* A NDIS Worker screening check / WWC Check
* Covid Vaccination
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Clear speech and ability to communicate effectively in roster and shift notes is important for us and our clients
* Preference will be given to experienced and complex staff wanting to work in SIL environments.
* Reliable, committed staff ready to work
Mostly we need you to have a passion for working with a different ideology to make a change to how supports can be delivered
