The role
Job Summary
As a IT Data Modeller, you will architect and model data to department projects/programs using the SDLC and Agile development while maximizing the EDW environment and associated technologies such as Teradata, Informatica, Cloudera, SAS, Cognos, Qlik, Oracle, and PowerBi.
Duties
- Present valid proposed data models with stakeholders before developing a data dictionary for physical data implementation.
- Manage productive stakeholder relationships and associated risks.
- Scope, source, and optimize data for analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience.
- Solid knowledge of the system development life cycle.
- Understanding of data modelling principles for data warehouses.
- Programming experience in SAS DI.
- Experience in data warehousing.
- Agile experience is desirable.
Eligibility
- Australian citizenship and baseline security clearance mandatory.
Contract Details
Contract: 10‐month contract with two 12‐month extensions.
Location
Canberra or Queensland.
Work From Home
WFH 2 days per week.
