Join our Boat Crew and be involved in the running and operation of our vessels Nashira and Mimosa. Boat crews progress through the Trainee, Crew, Senior Crew and Skipper development pathways. Training includes radio operation, boat handling, navigation, rope handling, towing and rafting, search and rescue and other maritime skills and is provided through a combination of in‑house courses, online and on‑board competencies assessed by skippers. A reasonable level of fitness is required. All training will be provided by MRG. It is a satisfying and rewarding role working with your fellow crew and ensuring that the boating public is assisted and kept safe on the water.

* Time Required: Boat crew meets at the Marina on Sunday morning for training. Night training can be held on Thursday evenings during winter.
* Training: MR Member training – Operational Induction and AIMS Awareness online. Vessel Induction, Marine WHS, First Aid, Sea Survival, Seamanship, Navigation, Towing & Rafting. Training is conducted in accordance with WA Dept. of Fire and Emergency Services policy.
