Here at West Oz surplus we are a family owned and run metal recycling company, with ties to heavy mining and equipment. We service energy utility companies. We sort, dispose and export scrap and redundant equipment. We are seeking dependable, hard working team members to join our close knit team that have a desire to learn metal processing within our multiple yards.
Qualifications & Experience
General labouring skills, power tool knowledge & experience favourable but not necessary, forklift ticket is favourable but again not necessary. No previous experience needed but is a bonus. All training is provided on-site.
Can be a physically demanding job at times, favourable to be of moderate fitness.
Police clearance preferable.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Bin sorting of recyclable metals, dismantling transformers/machinery, general site cleanliness.
