We are seeking an enthusiastic individual in Rockhampton who is interested in Administration, confident with computers, and possesses strong communication skills. This paid position allows you to gain a nationally recognised qualification – Certificate III in Business Administration.
During the traineeship, you will be hosted by a major Civil Construction company, RoadTek, which provides excellent mentoring, training, and encourages teamwork and innovation. RoadTek delivers transport infrastructure solutions across Queensland as part of the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR).

Responsibilities include:
* Providing administrative support to the procurement team
* Preparing and processing employee timesheets
* Using various computer programs such as Excel, Word, and costing software
* Liaising with clients for quotes and estimates
* Handling external civil works enquiries and customer service
* General administrative tasks: filing, archiving, photocopying, mail handling, stock management
* Accounts payable data entry and reconciliation
* Payroll data entry in SAP
* Assisting with project costing in SAP
* Other duties as directed by the Project Manager or Financial Coordinator
Note: Some manual handling may be required for archiving and filing.
Candidate qualities:
* Driver's license and reliable transport
* OHS Construction White Card (prior to start)
* Experience in multitasking within an administration role
* Flexibility and adaptability
* Ability to maintain confidentiality
* Attention to detail in data entry
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Experience with Excel, Word, Outlook (desirable)
* Team-oriented mindset
* Initiative and motivation
Location: The position is based in Rockhampton QLD; applicants must reside locally.
Pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening is required before employment.
