About the role
We are seeking a full-time Dental Assistant and Dental Receptionist to join our team at the Echuca Dental Clinic in Echuca, VIC 3564. In this versatile role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, supporting our dentists, and ensuring the smooth running of our dental practice.
What you'll be doing
* Assisting dentists during procedures by passing instruments, suctioning, and preparing materials
* Sterilising and maintaining dental equipment and instruments
* Greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and managing patient records
* Handling payments, processing insurance claims, and maintaining financial records
* Promoting a positive and welcoming environment for our patients
* Ensuring the dental practice is clean, organised, and well-stocked
* Providing support to the wider dental team as needed
What we're looking for
* Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role within a dental practice
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients and the dental team
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple responsibilities
* Proficiency in using dental software and computer systems
* A friendly, professional, and patient-focused attitude
* Certification or qualification in Dental Assisting or a related field is preferred
