With a proven track record across finance, retail and education, this team works closely with clients to shape strategy, implement modern data platforms and support lasting outcomes across AI, governance and analytics.
What you'll be doing Owning the full sales cycle — from discovery to deal close — across upper mid-market and lower enterprise organisations Selling consulting services around data platforms, warehousing, reporting, governance and AI enablement Engaging with both technical and commercial stakeholders — from CTOs to project leads — to understand needs and position tailored services Driving a 60% new business / 40% account growth mix with autonomy and support Creating and executing account plans, prospecting at events, leveraging your network and collaborating with pre-sales and delivery teams to scale opportunities You'll be selling into well-known clients like: Financial services: Hostplus, Future Fund, Judo Bank Retail: Mecca and Reiss Education: Universities and research-led institutions What you bring Experience selling consulting or services in data, analytics or digital transformation (not product-led sales) A proactive mindset — you enjoy creating opportunities, mapping accounts and engaging new stakeholders Strong commercial and technical curiosity — you don't need to be an engineer, but you get the landscape (cloud, governance, platform architecture etc.) Comfortable managing small proof-of-value projects ($30k–$60k) through to larger deals ($150k–$250k+) Why this role? $150k Base, $200k OTE + Super Direct support from experienced sales and delivery leaders with deep industry expertise Flexible hybrid model — 2 days in the Melbourne office, rest WFH!
