Your role As a Community Corrections Officer, you will join a dedicated and dynamic team focused on offender rehabilitation and enhancing community safety. In this role, you will collaborate with individuals under supervision to develop and implement rehabilitative strategies, monitor progress toward established goals, and conduct home visits to ensure compliance with conditions. You will benefit from a supportive work environment and opportunities to engage in staff activities, all while making a meaningful impact in the community. What you’ll do Community Corrections Officers are trained to case manage people subject to community-based orders, including Parole Orders, Intensive Corrections Orders, and Community Corrections Orders. At Grafton, Officers also work with people in custody to prepare them for successful reintegration into the community upon their release on parole. This role offers extensive training opportunities and pathways for career advancement. Successful candidates will be required to complete a mandatory four-week, in-person, paid training program at our Brush Farm Academy, which is a key component of the Certificate IV in Correctional Practice curriculum.
