Northern Health are seeking applications for a Director of Medical Services for Kilmore and Community Hospitals
Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne's rapidly growing outer north.
Services are provided through our six main campuses:
Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn and Mernda Community Hospitals Centres and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park, Mernda and Coburg.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Deputy Chief Medical Officer, the Director of Medical Services provides oversight and medical leadership over all medical staff at Northern Health's Kilmore site and community hospitals. As Kilmore District Health and Northern Health amalgamated in recently, the Director of Medical Services will continue to work with Northern Health's leadership team on new alignment of medical services, medical professional governance and transition of medical practitioner contracts
To be successful in this role you will have:

* Resilience and the ability to reflect on constructive feedback
* Current clinical appointment at Northern Health as a Senior Medical Staff (desirable)
* Qualifications on health/medical leadership and management (desirable)
