We are looking for a Team Leader – Structures to join our Structural team in Perth.
Our Structures team has a reputation for solving non-typical, complicated problems across Defence, Industrial, Commercial, Transport, Resources and Water infrastructure sectors. You will be afforded the flexibility to focus on the technical aspects of Structural design, and/or lead the delivery of complex brownfield and greenfield structural and multi-discipline projects.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
* Develop new and repeat business within the WA Region as required – including preparation of proposals and bids for projects.
* Provide leadership, planning, and coordination of resources for each job including inputs with other offices. Responsible for understanding the client's needs and managing the project and the project team to achieve these. Manage all jobs to deliver them on time, within budget and to the satisfaction of the client.
* Provide technical input and leadership to projects - incl review QA/QC of project deliverables as appropriate.
* Design structures composed of reinforced concrete, structural steel, and their associated foundations.
* Design commercial and industrial buildings and structures.
* Design of structures in support of GHD's Water and Energy Business Groups.
* Carry out inspections and reporting.
* Design retaining structures.
* Construction monitoring/contract administration on projects.
* Use structural analysis software for the design of structures.
What you will bring to the team:
* BE Civil/Structural or related qualification.
* Chartered status or equivalent international recognition (highly regarded).
* Registered Building Engineering Practitioner WA (or eligible).
* Significant consulting or industry experience (specifically in the buildings and/or water sectors).
* Proven ability in project management, design, and delivery of infrastructure and multidisciplinary projects.
* Strong knowledge of AS building codes and standards.
* Familiarity with public and private sector requirements.
