Kingspan is seeking a proactive and results-oriented Specification Manager to lead and expand our specification-driven sales activities across Western Australia.

In this role, you will build strong relationships with architects, designers, and key stakeholders, influencing project specifications and driving sustainable business growth.

The Role:

As the Specification Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities by building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders. This role focuses on engaging with prospective clients and strengthening connections with existing customers to promote our products and increase market awareness. You will work closely with architects, designers, and industry professionals to secure product specifications on upcoming projects, while actively creating opportunities that support the continued growth of the business.

* Lead Generation and Stakeholder Engagement: Utilise lead generation platforms to qualify and drive leads through the sales process by scheduling face to face or online appointments with external stakeholders.
* Product Presentations and Market Engagement: conduct several CPD or engaging product presentations per week; focusing on any key stakeholder group based on business needs and market opportunities.
* Specification & Conversion Performance Tracking: keep track of KPI trends by region (Conversion/Win Rate, Percentage Orders Specified, Specified Conversion/Win Rate) in close collaboration with state managers.
* Market Trend Monitoring & Action Planning: monitor market trends and devise action plans to overcome market barriers.
* CRM & Project Tracking: use the Salesforce platform for all project tracking and reporting.
* Business Development & Relationship Building: contribute to the development of strategic relationships that offer long‐term business opportunities and provide monthly reports on the status of these relationships.
* Additional Requirements: Attend customer social events, internal and external sales meetings, project meetings in their entirety, trade nights and any other activity required by Kingspan Insulated Panels. Kingspan will provide reasonable advance notice of such activities.

About You:

* Minimum of 3-4 years' experience in a similar role with a sales track record.
* Self‐starter with a business development approach.
* Solid follow‐through and multi‐tasking capabilities.
* Through proficient use of interpersonal skills via phone and face‐to‐face, engage and probe customers to ensure their true needs are determined and provide optimal solutions.
* Good interpersonal and people skills.
* Ability to comprehend the Kingspan products and to communicate our value proposition to prospects.
* Knowledge of commonly used building concepts in construction.
* Experience in lead nurturing, lead generation and appointment setting.
* Proficient in CRM administration.
* Ability to handle a fast‐paced environment and challenging workload.
* Highly motivated with a strong desire to succeed.
* Must be adaptable, professional, courteous, and motivated and must work well individually or as a member of a team.
* Motivated to achieve KPIs service targets via managing people, with a high standard of accountability.
* Excellent relationship building skills.
* Organised, efficient and able to self‐prioritise workload.
