About the role
We are seeking an experienced HR Truck Driver / Storeman to join the team at TGT Rural Operations in Mareeba, Queensland. This full-time role will see you responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods as well as the management of our warehouse operations. This is a full time position, operating Monday to Friday with participation in a rotating Saturday morning roster.
What you'll be doing
* Operate a heavy rigid truck to transport goods into and from our warehouse and customer sites
* Load and unload trucks, ensuring all items are properly secured and accounted for
* Manage inventory, including stock takes, receiving and dispatching goods, and maintaining accurate records
* Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse
* Assist with general warehouse tasks as required
* Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations
What we're looking for
* Previous experience as a truck driver and/or in a warehousing/logistics role
* Current HR truck licence and forklift licence
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
* Good communication and customer service skills
* A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
