The role
Fixed Term Contract for 12 months.
$77,133 per annum plus Superannuation.

What you'll be doing:
- Preparation of reports, letters, spreadsheets and other documents as per the operational requirements of the Department.
- Maintain timetables, diaries and schedule activities as directed by the Departmental Manager.
- Be an integral point of call for internal and external customers to ensure compliance with Corporate policies and procedures.
- Undertake general administrative duties such as document preparation and processing, data entry, filing, photocopying, scanning, plan printing, customer service, system maintenance and database integrity that support the activities of the Department.
- Facilitate Departmental compliance with Content Manager, Hume Connect, Finance One, Property CI and all other key performance indicators as required by the Department.
- Ensure quality assurance with all Administrative policies and procedures implemented, evaluated and designed.
- Provide administration support and assist with special projects including LATM studies, audits, archiving, records management, mail outs and mail merges and other administration duties as directed from time to time.
The skills and experience you'll bring to the role:
- A high level of skills in Microsoft applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook) and the Intranet.
- Experience in providing high quality meeting and conference support, such as preparing agendas, recording and preparing minutes, booking meetings, formatting documents, etc.
- A nationally recognised Certificate in Administration or similar field or substantial relevant experience.
- Demonstrated organising skills, including the capacity to develop, arrange, monitor and continually improve administrative procedures and systems.
- Demonstrated ability to agenda and minute meetings.
- Ability to gain cooperation of, and communicate both verbally and in written form with a broad range of people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers.
Required Certifications & Qualifications:
- A nationally recognised Certificate in Administration or similar field or substantial relevant experience.
